A WORD ABOUT DECORUM AND ATTIRE ABOARD A BARE NECESSITIES CRUISE
Our mission is to provide relaxing, entertaining and health-conscious vacation opportunities that offer non-threatening, natural environments where the appreciation, wonder and
compatibility of nature and the unadorned human form can occur.
We also support the belief that sexuality is not a state of undress but rather, a state of mind and that social nudity is not a sexual activity. We strive to dispel the misconception that nudity is sexually exploitative. Bare Necessities has worked diligently over the past seventeen years to break down the walls of prejudice against social nude recreation. We have accomplished major goals for the acceptance of nude vacationing and our wide range of superior cruise charters reflects our success.
1. All passengers must be dressed any time the ship is in port or the Captain announces that clothing is required. Announcements will only be made when the ship is entering port.
2. All passengers must be dressed for meals in the dining room and if they choose to attend the Captain’s Cocktail Party.
3. Lingerie is not considered appropriate dining room attire and fetish wear, including excessive genital jewelry, is not appropriate at any time.
4. Please do not sit nude on the ship furnishings. Towels will be provided throughout the ship.
5. No photographs, video or electronic images of any person may be taken without the express consent of that individual. People found taking photographs in the designated “NO PHOTO ZONES” on board our ship charters face confiscation of their photo capturing equipment and dismissal from the cruise at the next port of call.
6. Overt sexual activity or any solicitation for such activity is, of course, strictly prohibited.
7. Passengers must comply with US law regarding the possession or use of illegal substances.
Bare Necessities also complies with the cruise line’s regulations, which we agreed to when we entered into the charter agreement, including the right to dismiss persons from the cruise for abusing alcohol and/or drugs, sexual solicitation or overt sexual acts and for not complying with the laws of the country we are visiting. We realize that for 99% of our passengers most of these rules are simply common sense and courtesy to your fellow travelers. We have stated them so that the 1% that may have booked this cruise with an agenda not in keeping with the standards
of conduct for nude recreation will not be surprised should a violation of these standards result
in dismissal from the cruise. There are no refunds for such a dismissal nor is transportation
provided from the port of dismissal.
Thank you-
The Staff of Bare Necessities
